Summer STEM Camps
These summer camps offer engaging programs in drone technology, video game development, engineering,
and aquatic science, fostering STEM skills through hands-on activities for kids and teens.

Drone Camp Level I: Introduction to Drones (Ages 6–10)
Discover the basics of drone technology in a fun and engaging environment! Designed for younger learners, this program introduces safe drone handling, simple flight maneuvers, and creative activities like designing obstacle courses. Perfect for first-time flyers, this level focuses on building foundational skills, boosting confidence, and sparking curiosity in STEM.
Drone Camp Level II: Exploring Drone Operations and Videography (Ages 9–14)
Take flight and capture the world from above! Students will enhance their flying skills, navigate advanced obstacle courses, and explore drone videography. They’ll learn how to plan and record aerial footage, edit videos, and experiment with creative projects. This level emphasizes teamwork, precision, and hands-on learning to deepen their drone expertise.
Drone Camp Level III: Advanced Drone Programming and Mechanics (Ages 12–16)
For aspiring drone enthusiasts ready for the next challenge! This advanced program dives into programming drones for specific tasks, understanding drone mechanics, and solving real-world challenges. Students will engage in exciting projects like designing autonomous flight paths and troubleshooting mechanical issues, preparing them for future STEM pursuits and careers in drone technology.

Video Game Development Program Tier I: Ages 6–10
Introduce young minds to the exciting world of video game design! In this two-week program, students will explore the basics of coding and game creation through fun, age-appropriate activities. They’ll learn fundamental coding concepts, basic math skills, and creative problem-solving. Hands-on experiments and engaging outdoor activities ensure a balanced and interactive experience. By the end of the program, students will work collectively to develop their very own fun and simple video game, building teamwork and creativity along the way.
Video Game Development Program Tier II: Ages 9–14
Dive deeper into the art and science of game design in this two-week program for older students! Participants will tackle more advanced coding concepts, apply math fundamentals to real-world projects, and experiment with game mechanics. The program also integrates collaborative outdoor activities and team challenges to keep learning dynamic and enjoyable. By the program’s conclusion, students will have collectively designed and built a unique and engaging video game, showcasing their skills and creativity.

Splash Into Nature Aquatic Science Level I
(Ages 5–10)
Dive into the wonders of water in our Splash Into Nature program! Young explorers will be introduced to aquatic ecosystems through fun, hands-on activities at our beautiful lakefront campus. Students will engage in simple experiments, outdoor adventures, and foundational science and math lessons. From observing aquatic life to learning about water conservation, this one-week program sparks curiosity and builds a connection with nature. Ideal for fostering an early appreciation of the environment, this program encourages young minds to think like scientists while having fun outdoors.
Biodiversity Beneath the Surface Aquatic Science Level II
(Ages 10–14)
Embark on an immersive two-week journey into aquatic ecosystems with Biodiversity Beneath the Surface! Designed for older students, this program dives deep into the study of biodiversity and environmental science at our waterfront campus. Participants will perform sample collection and analysis, investigate local ecosystems, and solve real-world environmental challenges. With a mix of outdoor exploration, hands-on experiments, and lessons in science and math fundamentals, students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through engaging activities, they’ll explore micro and macro biology, discovering the vital connections within our environment and their role in preserving it.

Little Engineer: Ages 5–10
Embark on an exciting week of discovery in our Little Engineer program! Young learners will explore robotics and engineering fundamentals through hands-on experiments, engaging outdoor activities, and age-appropriate coding and math lessons. Individually or in teams, students will work on specific engineering projects tailored to their interests and skill levels. Weekly projects vary and may include designing cars, building simple bridges, or experimenting with sensors. This program sparks creativity and fosters a love for STEM in a fun, collaborative environment.
Junior Engineer: Ages 11–14
Dive deeper into the world of engineering in our Junior Engineer program! Over one exciting week, students will tackle advanced engineering projects, such as building robotic arms, designing self-driven cars, constructing bridges and buildings, or integrating various types of sensors into innovative designs. The program blends coding, math fundamentals, hands-on experiments, and outdoor activities to create a dynamic and enriching experience. Students will work individually or collaboratively to complete their projects, developing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills along the way.
