Mike YU received the Leadership in Action award for Courage. He received the Courage Award in recognition of his ability to stand his ground and not be a follower. He attends every class and completes his work well, rather than getting distracted by his peers or games. Mike takes responsibility for his own actions and has shown his teachers that he is willing to put in the effort to succeed.

Julianna INDRIGO also won the Courage Award for the month. She is not afraid of doing something that firghtens  her; she does the work even when it's challenging. One wouldn't hear her say, " I can't do this". She tries her best with any given task, and asks for help when needed. What is most impressive is that she doesn't given up after a set back. She takes a low grade or a mistake as a learning opportunity and tries again. Lastly, she motivates others to always do their best. Julianna's courage is an inspiration to her peers and her teachers. Way to go Julianna!
