- Our Student - Leadership in Action-Courage at School

Courage is an essential trait we need in our lives to confront challenges and overcome obstacles so that we could achieve our personal goals and live a rewarding life. For the month of February, Cambridge International Academy will focus on this admirable trait to encourage students to do the right thing in spite of their fears and/or trepidations. Students will learn that distractions and peer pressure may potentially prevent us from being our best. However, when we demonstrate courage, we develop our confidence and leadership abilities to become productive citizens. Students can display courage in the following ways:

1. Tell the truth regardless of the consequences

2. Don't give in to negative peer pressure

3. Do the right thing, even if others are not

4. Face your fears to overcome them

5. Try new things even though you may think you will fail

6. Admit your errors and most importantly, learn from them
