ART: Leo Tolstoy states, "The activity of Art is as important as the activity of language itself and as universal". In this light, Cambridge International Academy is now offering an after school Academic Art Program for children ages 9 to 11. The program aims to develop an appreciation of Art, provide concepts for future learning and application, demonstrate a variety of skills to work independently. The program also encourages organized thinking in relation to the art environment, promotes freedom of self expression, and imparts language/vocabulary associated with Art. Lively discussions and activities inspire creative explorations. Fun and practical training helps the young artists develop new ideas and skills they can apply inside and outside the classroom. At the end of the course, students visit an Art Gallery for deeper understanding of the subject and to connect with artworks in a gallery setting.
Academic Art Program is divided into three separate courses that are independent of each other. Art Club 1, Art Club 2, Art Club 3. Each course is made up of 11 classes.
Art Club 1: Each Thursday commencing September 15th to November 24th, 2016
